"Thank you so much for everything! Today wouldn't have been as perfect without you!" - The Bride

It's funny, because that's how I felt reversed! This wedding day wouldn't have been as amazing without the two stars of the show, Meredith and Luke.

Mr. and Mrs. McPherson...

They were married at Arran Lakes Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC surrounded by such an astounding group of friends and family. It's clear they are loved by SO many and I was lucky enough to be part of this special occasion.

Leading up to the wedding, we were able to capture the most Nicholas Sparks themed engagement portrait session ever (one of my favorites for sure!) I'll include a few photos:

Straight from a southern novel, right?

After a fun portrait session, we did Meredith's bridals at the gorgeous Cape Fear Botanical Garden, also in Fayetteville. Another STUNNING set of portraits that deserve their own blog post in the future, although I will include a preview below too!

The moment we've all been waiting for...

So many wonderful things leading up to the wedding day I just felt the need to share!!! But on the day of, Meredith and Luke were just as down to earth and calm as I expected them to be. There may have been a few nerves hidden in there, but they did hide it well. We had a beautiful day that previously predicted rain, but it ended up holding off until the night was over. A blessing for sure!

We started early with details photos, pre-ceremony portraits, and then some formals before the ceremony as well. The bride and the groom shared a private first touch with just a few minutes to spare. The ceremony in the church was so spiritual and special, it tugged my heart strings to finally see these two become one under the eyes of God!

We wrapped up the rest of portraits after the ceremony - family, wedding party, and husband and wife! Meredith and Luke requested to get all photos done before the reception so we did not have to come back out for sunset portraits. I love that I can cater to my couples and make their requests happen!

The reception entrance led into special dances, dinner, and sentimental toasts. The best man and maid of honor made heartfelt speeches that kept everyone smiling, and the mingling continued throughout the night. Because of the rain, we ended up doing a bubble exit inside the church and I actually love how it turned out!

This was a smooth wedding day, yet we just rolled with a few punches with no problems. It is so refreshing to work with calm, happy couples and I'm beyond thankful that my job gives me that opportunity 9 times out of 10. Thank you so much for everything Meredith and Luke, I can't wait to work with you again in the future! Wishing you all the best and more for YEARS to come!
