This night is flawless, don't you let it go...
One of the most obvious words that comes to mind when describing Mr. and Mrs. Costner's stunning wedding day is enchanting. It was the most wonderful mix of elegance, luxury, and rustic in its own way.
When I first met Allison & Camron, we clicked instantly!!! I knew I was meant to cross paths with their love story and capture the biggest day of their lives. They have been so lovely to work with during this entire process! We celebrated together, planned together, even worried a little (and I always try my best to ease worries - because the last thing you need as a bride is more stress!) One thing I love about working with my couples is creating these relationships that I will always cherish.
Allison & Cam were married at The Venue at Turkey Ridge in Kings Mountain, outside of Charlotte, NC! It was not only the perfect venue for a wedding, but the perfect venue for them. It's a combination of luxury + rustic, with the most amazing views! What I loved so much about The Costner wedding is that they had the most beautiful color arrangements - that didn't look like the typical October wedding colors! So many shades of pink and blue together made everything look so bright and happy.
First things first...
When my team and I arrived, we checked in with bride and groom before diving into detail shots! I had so much getting creative and utilizing the area at the venue for some great shots. We were also going for some more editorial or vogue-like shots this time... which I'm so excited for y'all to see!!
Things were a little busy before the ceremony but we rolled with it as always!! Having the most special and intimate first look with each other, the bride and groom also read private vows. It was just what they needed to keep their nerves at bay before walking down the aisle.
The ceremony site was fulled of loved ones sitting on stone benches, watching Allison and Camron say I do under glowing sunlight. Everything went without a single issue and it was a beautiful ceremony!!! My favorite part (after the first kiss of course) was having their families pray over them before sealing the deal. A spiritual attribute that I love seeing added to weddings!
We spent the following hour on formal portraits! Family, wedding party, and of course the bride and groom. Before their wedding day, Allison came to me to talk about her vision for couples portraits and I think we definitely achieved it!!! We were also completely obsessed with Millie Bobby Brown's wedding photos... so she became our inspiration. Allison & Cam made it easy, they are 1000% meant to be together and you can see their magic on camera. A photographer's dream come true!!
After some fun entrances for the reception, we jumped right into the special dances - CUE THE TEARS! Something I truly loved about this wedding was the level of emotion shown. So many tears of joy and happiness were shed, and I tried to catch as many as possible on camera - it's my job ;) But I truly feel like the amount of comfortability everyone has with each other is something to be admired.
After the typical reception activities.. a delicious dinner, cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss, and of course the partayyyy with dancing, we ended the night with a gorgeous sparkler exit. The ring of light around the love birds was the best way to end things.
It has been an absolutely joy of my own to work with such special people!!! Allison & Camron, you are both kind souls and I appreciate your trust so much! I hope your day was everything you've ever dreamed of and I will always wish you happiness for now and forever!!!
