Mr. and Mrs. Keith just entered the chat!

I simply cannot get over how amazing this wedding day was Sydney and David! From the get go when we met, I knew these two were down to earth yet so joyful in their personalities. The most important part about the day for Sydney and David was the fact that they could finally join together as one and start their lives together. Being in their presence, you can solely feel that sentiment surrounded with so much love.

The ceremony took place at Wake Chapel Christian Church in Fuquay Varina, NC. Aside from most definitely being one of the most gorgeous churches I've photographed in before, their ceremony was filled with so much love and worship. The joining of Sydney and David before God, friends, and family was a spiritual journey I loved being witness to.

We were thankfully able to grab most of the formal portraits at the church before a storm rolled in (I'll say it again, even though I know it's a overused rule... but it's true! Rain is GREAT luck on a wedding day! I believe in it!) and then we all traveled to Bentwinds Golf and Country Club for the reception.

Something special that I absolutely adored about this day: instead of the traditional first dance with husband and wife upon entering the party, the bride danced with her father while simultaneously the groom danced with his mother. Halfway through, the proud parents passed off their child to the new 'most important' person in each other's lives.

When we were able to head outdoors again for more formal portraits, luckily we had a few covered areas to utilize during the downpour. But when I ask my couple if they're down for rainy portraits and they say yes, it's one of the greatest feelings!!! Unless it's a hurricane outside, I'm always good for photos in the rain! So I have to give a huge THANK YOU to Sydney and David for being such troopers through everything. Although, it's clear that these moments stirred up so much of the happiness and romance they feel when they're together.

The rain forced us to get extra creative... and surprisingly it wasn't as difficult as I expected it to be! Not to toot my own horn here... because Sydney and David had a LOT to do with how stunning these images are... but I am seriously impressed with the beauty in these images despite the gloom we had outside! You can easily feel all the chic and elegant, yet fun vibes for these husband and wife portraits. I mean come on... barefoot in the rain in a wedding gown while your hubby adores looking into your eyes; all the vibes I dream about as a wedding photographer!!

Although these are some of my favorite highlights, the entire day was special in a thousand ways that can only be described through the story of photos, videos, and words. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do! Sydney and David: cheers to the start of the best adventure of your lives so far... I wish you all the best and more for years to come! Also, here's to hoping our paths cross again in the future as soon as possible! :)
